Comportment

Anyone who follows the global village of news and entertainment, promoted by the mass media, gets enticed to discover how much of the subject "sex" is inserted in a broad media concept. Such question being approached through a wide scope, even if some tend to predominate.

We are talking about a question related to the tireless and ever so present search of pleasure. Pure and simple. The mass media tends to present sex as easy, good and spontaneous. Moreover, it implies that people should always be in the mood for it.

However, there is no way to accept this position of the media, while scientific researches reveal that society as a whole has in sex not only pleasure, but also psychological or physical problems. Recent studies showed that about 40 percent of women of all ages reported having sexual problems. Moreover, it’s important to say that such is not an easy thing to admit.

Such sexual problems affect many other "sectors" of life. Difficulties in the human sexuality may disrupt the familiar circle, the professional performance, other health functions, and the private life. By the same token, life interactions and activities may affect the human sexuality.

Sexual problems can be influenced by various factors. There are two main components - biological and psychological – and both usually interact. Biological problems generally involve issues as hormonal imbalances, infections, and the use of some medications or drugs, apart from other diseases.

The psychological aspect includes issues related mainly with cultural factors. From birth throughout lifetime, people develop their "sexual story" influenced by culture, gender, family and personal experiences. The "story" takes on beliefs that they attribute to their sexuality and affect views about the body, roles, power and partnership.

Specifically about female sexual problems

A sexual problem is roughly defined as a dysfunction that appears in the course of sexual activity. Women might experience a range of sexual problems. Nevertheless, there are some that deserve to be detached: 1) not being in the mood for sex; 2) excessive dryness; 3) and pain during intercourse or related to sexual activity.

Most women experience onsets from time to time. It is when it becomes persistent turns out problematic to women and respective partners.
