Health

Female sexual problem is a term that comprehends several aspects of the female sexuality. Unfortunately, numbers are very impressive of women suffering from such dysfunctions. Apparently, there are far more cases of female sexual problems than from men suffering of similar dysfunction.

Female sexual problems don't refer only to the sex act itself, but it also involves problems of arousal difficulties in reaching orgasm and pain during intercourse.

It's important to know that most of the so called female sexual problems happen from time to time, being perfectly normal. They only need to be actually seen as sex-linked dysfunctions as persistent and distressing, for her, or for her partner too. Female sexual problems may be caused by several factors divided into biological and psychological:

Biological female sexual problems - sex dysfunctions triggered by physical reasons, some such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and diseases transmitted through sex, infections, and particularly hormonal imbalances. The use of certain antidepressants may also be associated with such sex side effects.

Psychological female sexual problems - they may appear due to a wide variety of reasons. From a trauma derived from some unpleasant or frustrating sex experience to some cultural-biased concept that may influence directly in a woman's sex life. Depression, problems with body image, pressure within the relationship and others are common reasons for such problems.

During life, psychological female sexual problems may end up by producing biological problems. When all the factors mean blurred together it is all the more difficult to identify a problem and try to determine applicable treatment. That's why it's essential to seek medical advice at any sign of constant and annoying problems related with sex. It may feel a little frustrating at first glance, but it's worth the effort so-delivered yourself and your partner a good and pleasant sex life.
