Inside the Mind of a Sexual Predator

In our competitive and complicated lives of todays, we are unable to give our children all from our time. Thus, competing in job careers, studies and a lot of other things that occupy our minds and our time. For that reason, our children are easily exposed to a great danger: the attack of a sexual predator.

As statistics showed, a sexual predator is always someone close to our family and never some creepy, nerdy and weird guy as portrays. They are likely to be a teacher, a caregiver or a gardener, someone we trust and can't notice their influence. A sexual predator is always a very methodical sex criminal. He works to be trusted and needed by the child, to acquire authority that will ensure the silence of his sex victim.

The sexual predator acts slowly, and after becoming a trusted friend for the child, he starts to increase body contact until the child becomes unaware of his sexual advances. For a child who doesn't know anything about sex, everything is part of the play, and he'll never be afraid since being with a "friend". In many cases the sexual predator starts to put ideas on the child's mind by showing erotic or explicit images and videos. The child became familiar with such sex content so it becoming part of daily routine.

It is important to pay attention to that child. Even though he's not going to tell you anything about the sex crime, he'll show you some important signs. If your child starts to make remarks about sex, touches others in their sex parts or starts to be afraid for no apparent reason, he can be a victim of a sexual predator. Some parents complain about the fear of "destroying the innocence" of their children by telling them the dangers of sex crime, but it's always better than taught by a sexual predator let in the worst possible way.
